Metaphysics and The Law of Attraction

 

We are all born a miraculous beautiful baby. The influences we grow up with – the people, our environment, the situations we encounter – stay with us and shape us as adults. It is from this space that we live our daily lives. Whilst this may lead to many positive experiences, it can also leave us unfulfilled, confused or still searching.

CoreWe live in a "victim culture". We are taught that our environment determines who we are. "I act the way I do because of my childhood, my boss, my spouse, the weather". So we try to change our environment, including the people around us.

The problem is that changing the things around us doesn't work. Why? Because the "if only's" are always beyond our reach. There's always something else that comes down the road; the loss of a job, conflict with children, catastrophic illness, not to mention the day to day difficulties in life.

Here's the good news! We have, unknowingly, created all our experiences ourselves, the good and the bad. Yes, even the accidents and debt. Thus, by changing ourselves, which is completely within our own control, we can create the positive experiences we want.

Our conscious mind, our intellectual mind, is attached to a vast resource of proper responses and solutions. When we operate from here we're positive, perform well and can achieve what we set our intention on.

CoreWe also have our original "cave man" brain. This emotional mind operates within the parameters of anxiety, depression and anger. Needless to say, when we function from this part life is pretty miserable. We also don't get to produce the serotonin so necessary for our well being. So what makes us lose intellectual control and, to a greater or lesser extent, end up in our primitive mind? The answer is NEGATIVE THINKING. Every time we have a negative thought it is converted into ANXIETY. Think about that one for a moment! Researchers tell us we have between 60,000 and 90,000 thoughts a day. How many of those are negative?

TeachingThese anxiety thoughts get stored in our "stress bucket". With a small amount of "healthy" stress stored there we have the ability to "empty it" during our REM sleep, which occurs about every 90 minutes and makes up about 20% of our sleep pattern. Waking up with an "empty stress bucket" enables us to start the day in positive mind frame and attract a good day. However, if our stress bucket is "too full", the 20% REM sleep isn't enough to empty it. In that case, our mind either wakes us up in the early hours of the morning and we find it difficult to go back to sleep (anxiety pattern) and we get to start the new day already anxious with our bucket already partly filled, or we stay in a deep sleep, desperately trying to empty it and wake up exhausted (depression pattern) with zero serotonin being produced so we end up more depressed and the cycle continues.

All the negative energy from the negative thoughts we have, which nowadays can be measured scientifically, literally goes out into the Universe and, just like a magnet attracting the like, attracts negativity back, manifesting in even more things you don't want in your life. This is exactly why we tend to get one bad thing after another when we're on a negative "roll".

SittingThe trick is to regain control of the intellectual mind, produce lots of positive thoughts, create lots of serotonin that makes us feel good, send out positive feelings and attract all the positive good things we want in life. This is to use the Law of Attraction to advantage!

By learning how to harness the incredible power of these thoughts and feelings, clearing out the old blocks and false beliefs in the way and using them to create what you do want, you can manifest more happiness and more abundance in your life than you could ever have dreamed .........
