From M5 Junction 27: Journey time to Bickleigh
Castle approx. 25 mins
J27: take 3rd exit off roundabout signposted "Tiverton/Barnstaple". Dual carriageway approx 7 miles to roundabout, turn left. 50 yards to roundabout, go straight over. 100 yards to roundabout, turn right. Straight over next roundabout, past Morrisons on left. At mini roundabout, turn left. Follow road past a few shops, at mini roundabout go straight over. Few hundred yards to next roundabout, go straight over. Follow road for approx 3 miles to Bickleigh Village. Turn right immediately after The Trout Pub. Go over tiny bridge and bear immediately left at pretty cottage. Approx 200 yards, turn left, signposted Bickleigh Castle. Proceed for approx quarter mile, Bickleigh Castle car park is on the right before the Castle itself.
From Crediton: Journey time to Castle approx 20 mins
Take A3072 for approx 8 miles After descending a very steep winding hill, turn right,
signposted Bickleigh Castle. Proceed for approx quarter mile, Bickleigh Castle car park is on the right before the Castle itself.
